What a question!
Anger, Brene Brown writes is, " A catalyst. It's an emotion that we need to transform into something life giving: Courage, love, change compassion, justice... Anger often masks emotions that are difficult to name."
Anger can be used as an emotional indicator: when you notice you or someone around you are feeling angry, stop and enquire where the anger is coming from.
It it coming from witnessing injustice or unfairness?
Does it stem from a perception that things should not be this way? Or is there jealousy, guilt, grief, loneliness, shame or confusion or fear behind it?
Anger is a great teacher, if you're paying attention to the lesson
