Technical vocabulary, complex sentence structures, obscure words can be significant barriers to communicating with those who are not "in the know".
You might be able to show off your knowledge and learning, but is that your goal? If it is communicating, teaching or creating a space for discussion, you are likely better served just to keep it simple
